¡Hola! Soy Verónica Pérez Peña, venezolana, periodista de profesión viviendo en Estados Unidos, y éste que ven sonriente es mi amigo Adolfo Acosta Sosa, un hermano que me regaló la vida.
En éste momento Adolfo (quien se desempeña como fotoperiodista y creador de contenido multimedia en Venezuela) está pasando por un situación retadora: tiene un túmor cancerígeno de evolución avanzada en el estómago (en términos científicos ADC de UEG Siewert de estadio III ct3N1M0 Estadio III) y debe ser sometido a una operación urgentemente para extraer su estómago y a su vez, éste será sustituido por parte de su intestino (Gastrectomía total radical D2 con esófago-yeyuno. Anastomosis en "Y de Roux"). Después de ello, deberá recibir quimioterapia y cuidados especiales, por un tiempo.
Les cuento un poco de Adolfo. Él es de esas personas que cuando necesitas una mano, él te da las dos que tiene. Es paciente y comprensivo y al mismo tiempo se comporta como el mejor de los padres con sus amigos y hasta con los extraños. Es trabajador y una persona bien positiva, de esas que el mundo necesita para ser un mejor lugar.
Sumado a la situación actual de Venezuela (que es bastante delicada y donde sus ciudadanos viven situaciones de extrema necesidad) Adolfo y su familia no cuentan con los recursos económicos necesarios para enfrentar solos ésta situación, y es allí dónde ustedes entran. Necesitamos entre todos darle esperanza a un ser que se merece continuar viviendo y luchando porque la paz y la justicia tengan el lugar que todos anhelamos.
Por medio de ésta campaña solicito de corazón que nos ayuden a salvar la vida de Adolfo, que les juro, es una de las mejores personas que conozco y conoceré.
Anexo, dejo exámenes, diagnósticos y demás documentos para que puedan informarse mejor acerca de la salud física de mi gran amigo.
