"Admitted" Web Series Crowdfunding

Admitted is a mockumentary comedy web series created and produced by Boston University students. The first season, which consists of five 20-25-minute episodes, is slated to premiere on YouTube this Spring!

Many TV shows about college are written for our generation, by another generation. Our show is written by college students, with an all-student cast and crew — making it an authentic, current, relatable glimpse into college life.

Set in a college admissions office, the show follows new-hire MC as she forms relationships with Beacon Hill University’s eccentric student ambassadors — and develops an unexpected appreciation for her school. It’s like the wholesome ensemble mockumentary Abbott Elementary, but with the unlikely camaraderie and quirky humor of Community.

Even though young adults aged 18-22 are a large part of the media market, there are not many television shows that accurately depict the experiences of college students. Admitted is a television show that will help this demographic feel seen.
