Statement from filmmaker Kelly Davis:

ADMISSIONS is a short film based on an award-winning script I wrote in 2021. A spy noir thriller, it centers on the deadly power of lies. While my TV career has been in the PBS world and I’ve loved it, I’ve always been a writer and director of fiction at heart. So – at the age of 55 – I’m saying damn the torpedos and shooting my own film this October. Because, why not? Life is short.

Most of the financing for this film has come from side-hustle directing jobs. Selena, my wife, has come on board to produce the project along with her amazing team at Artemis Independent. We have a top notch cast and crew (including some professionals donating their time and some incredibly talented students) and I can’t wait to call “action” on the first shot.

A couple months ago, our pals, Jeanne, Amanda, Wendy and Dale said, hey! We should have a fundraiser! So – we are! And we'd love for you to become a part of our team.

The finished film is scheduled for release in early 2026. We are deeply grateful for any and all support!
