Adley’s Road to Remission

A few weeks ago, Emily and Trey went to bed with a perfectly normal, happy 4 year old little girl, the kind of child who laughs easily, listens well, sleeps through the night, and simply does life the way a child should.

They woke up to a different child.

What started as small balance issues quickly turned into something that just didn’t feel right. They were told it could be strep. Then came other possibilities. But deep down, they knew something more was going on.

So they pushed.

They went back.

They stayed.

They asked questions, even when answers didn’t come.

When things still weren’t improving, they made the decision to go to Texas Children’s Hospital. Within hours of being admitted, doctors discovered tumors.

On March 27th, their lives changed forever when they received the diagnosis of cancer.

Right now, Adley is walking through testing, planning, and treatment, one step at a time. There are still many unknowns, but one thing is certain.

Adley is in a fight.

And she is stronger than anyone could imagine.

As Emily and Trey stand beside her every moment, they are unable to work and will be facing overwhelming medical bills along with everyday living expenses during this time.

This fundraiser was created to support their family so they can focus fully on what matters most, Adley’s healing and care.
