SUPPORT ADITA'S 2ND BATTLE-AYUDA A ADITA EN SU 2ND BATALLA

Adita Navarro-Albo was born in El Paso Texas on February 18th, 2011. She was born 6 weeks prematurely, but became a healthy, amazing, charismatic, intelligent, friendly, lovable and outgoing little girl. Adita is the daughter of parents Ada Albo, Mario Navarro and sister to her younger brother Mario Navarro Albo. Life unfortunately set a very hard test for Adita when she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma on November 15 of 2017 at the age of 7. Adita’s first battle with cancer included a 12-hour surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. Additionally, her oncological treatment took place at MD Anderson and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Her treatment which included high dose radiotherapy and high dose chemotherapy left her with harsh side effects, but with a lot of prayers, positive energy, donations from friends, individuals and Foundations Adita “rung the bell” beating her cancer on November 7th, 2018, which gave her the opportunity to continue with her life.

Adita has gone thru various episodes and visits to the emergency rooms in the past 6 years, but with hard work from her mother, family, friends and her Hospital Care Team she has lived her life and graduated for from elementary school in Juarez, Mexico this past June. Adita, alongside her brother Mario, were ready to start school at St. Joseph’s School in El Paso, Texas in August.

Unfortunately, life has put another severe test on Adita, at the beginning of July Adita was diagnosed with Cancerous Sarcoma in her brain. The news has been devastating to Adita’s Parents, brother, friends and family members. Children have a hard enough time going through one cancer treatment, let alone a second treatment.

The Navarro-Albo family have been grateful to all of those who helped with Adita’s first battle, however, the family is again looking for support to help Adita go through her second battle with cancer. The new cancer treatment will require Adita to be away from her school and family members for 6 months in Houston, and it will be hard on her again not only physically but emotionally as well. We hope that that you find it in your heart to help this wonderful girl in her upcoming battle.

Adita Navarro Albo nació en El Paso, Texas el 18 de febrero del 2011. Ella nació 6 semanas prematura, pero logro ser una niña sana, asombrosa, carismática, inteligente, amigable, amorosa y sociable. Adita es hija de Ada Albo, Mario Navarro y hermana mayor de Mario Navarro Albo. Desafortunadamente, la vida le puso un gran reto cuando fue diagnosticada con Meduloblastoma el 15 de noviembre del 2017.La primera batalla contra el cáncer hizo que Adita pasara por una cirugía de 12 horas en el hospital de Boston Children’s Hospital. El tratamiento oncológico de dosis alta de radioterapia y dosis alta de quimioterapia continuó en MD Anderson y Texas Children’s Hospital en Houston. Los efectos secundarios del tratamiento fueron muy dañinos para Adita, pero con oraciones, energía positiva, donativos de familiares, donativos de manera individual y ayuda de varias fundaciones Adita “toco la campana” significando la victoria sobre su cáncer el 7 de noviembre del 2018.

Adita ha tenido varios episodios fuertes y varias visitas a la sala de emergencia en los últimos 6 años, pero con el gran trabajo de su madre, su familia, amigos y su Equipo Médico ella ha seguido con su vida y en junio logró graduarse de la primaria en Ciudad Juárez. El siguiente paso era que Adita y su hermano Mario empezaran la escuela en St. Joseph’s en El Paso, Texas en el mes de agosto.

Lamentablemente la vida le ha puesto otro reto a Adita y en los primeros días de Julio Adita fue diagnosticada con un Sarcoma Cancerígeno Cerebral. La noticia ha devastado a los padres de Adita, su hermano, amigos y familiares. Los niños pasan por una tarea muy pesada cuando pelean contra esta enfermedad la primera vez, no se diga una segunda batalla.

La familia Navarro-Albo han sido muy agradecidos con todos aquellos que ayudaron a Adita con su primera batalla contra el cáncer. Sin embargo, la familia necesita de su ayuda de nuevo para que Adita pueda pasar su segunda lucha contra la enfermedad. El tratamiento oncológico va a requerir que Adita esté lejos de su escuela y de su familia por 6 meses en Houston, y el tratamiento va a ser muy duro para Adita no solo físicamente pero emocionalmente también. Estamos con la esperanza de que tengan la gentileza de apoyar a la Familia, para que con esa ayuda esta extraordinaria niña pueda vencer de nuevo al cáncer.
