Adisyn Bruce is a strong-willed 12 year old who is no stranger to difficult times and personal demons. On the evening of July 15, she found herself unable to battle these demons any longer and hung herself while her mother was at work. Her 15 year old sister found her and medical help was received as quickly as possible. She is in ICU at Children's Hospital in New Orleans, LA. On the evening of July 16, two separate neurologists told Amber, her mother, that there was no chance for a neurological recovery. This afternoon, July 17, a different neurologist told her they are seeing frontal lobe activity and want to rerun scans on Monday or Tuesday. There is not yet any promise of what quality of life Adisyn may expect if she recovers. Edit to update: The brain activity observed was not such to sustain meaningful life. The family has chosen to let her go and are moving forward with the organ donation process. 

Amber is a single mother of 5 children who works relentlessly to support her kids. She is a spectacular hairdresser who goes above and beyond for her clients, but right now she is unable to work. Right now, Amber, Ethen, Makenzie, Samantha, and Coraline need our help, your help, to make ends meet.
