My name is Anike, and I’m creating this fundraiser with a heavy heart.

My little brother, Adisa, was tragically taken from us due to an act of violence. His passing has left our family devastated, and we are now trying to navigate the grief and loss that comes with such a sudden tragedy.

While Adisa lived a life that at times disappointed those closest to him, including us, his siblings and family, he was still our brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, and a father. We were blessed to know sides of him that many never had the chance to see. Beneath the struggles and imperfections was a person who was deeply loved.

As we prepare to lay Adisa to rest, we are facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses. We want to honor him with a heartfelt goodbye and also extend support to his children in the difficult days ahead.
