Adie's Fight Against Cancer: Hope, Healing, and Support

Hi friends, family, and community,

We are rallying around Adie Krambule and her beautiful family as they face a sudden and life-altering medical crisis. What began as months of unresolved symptoms quickly turned into a life-threatening emergency and a cancer diagnosis that no one saw coming.

After dealing with months of symptoms with no resolution, Adie ended up in the hospital on January 9th with intense pain and a hemoglobin level so low that she was in grave danger of having a heart attack. Over the course of two days she required six blood transfusions to survive.

Doctors attempted an emergency hysterectomy, but the surgery had to be stopped mid-procedure for Adie’s safety as it was clear they were dealing with an unexpected mass that could not be operated on safely. On January 12th they received the heartbreaking diagnosis of endometrial cancer.

Due to the location and nature of the mass, surgery is not an option at this time and Adie will have to undergo approximately 6 months of chemotherapy with the hopes of shrinking the mass to allow for surgery. Immunotherapy will also be required. One hopeful sign is that the cancer does not appear to have metastasized, but they will continue to monitor for this. They are currently waiting for some final tests results, and plan to start chemotherapy within the next few days.

At the center of everything Adie does is her fierce love for her family.
Adie is married to Cory, her rock and steady support through every challenge. Together, they are raising three amazing little miracles, Scarlet, Victoria, and Lydia who bring so much joy and light to every day.

Their family is an incredible unit, built on love, resilience, and deep connection. Adie’s greatest strength comes from being a mother and wife, and her fight against cancer is fueled by her determination to be present for her children and continue building a life with them.

Beyond her family, Adie is also an incredible friend, the kind of person who shows up, listens deeply, and gives endlessly of herself. Those who know her know her generosity, warmth, and unwavering loyalty. She is a gift to all of us that know her.

This diagnosis affects not just Adie, but everyone who loves her. Supporting Adie means supporting a family that means everything to her and a woman who has given so much of herself to others.

Adie will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. Medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, household expenses, and lost income are all unknowns right now, but we know they will be significant. If you can help, even the smallest amount can relieve some of the financial burden the family will face so that Adie can focus on what matters most: treatment and healing.

With gratitude,

Liz McGhee, Heather Tracy, and Linda Zimmerman
