Help Us Fight for Henry

A few months ago, our sweet little Henry—affectionately known as Hank the Tank—started showing signs that something wasn’t quite right. Our daughter noticed he wasn’t his usual cheerful self. After several visits to his primary physician and rounds of blood work, doctors discovered his red blood cell count was dangerously low. He was urgently admitted to the Pediatric ICU where he received several blood transfusions, as well as additional transfusions over several weeks. Despite this, his levels continued to fluctuate, prompting a bone marrow biopsy.

Then came the news no family ever wants to hear: Henry had been diagnosed with aggressive B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) the morning after his 2nd birthday.

He was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he’ll remain for a week or more. A port has been placed in his chest to deliver treatment—this will stay with him for the next 2 to 3 years. His chemotherapy began this weekend, and the road ahead will be long, intense, and incredibly challenging.

Henry is just a toddler, but he’s already a fighter. He’s a big boy for his age, full of joy and affection—always ready with a hug or a kiss for his stuffed animals. To know him is to love him, and watching him endure this pain is heartbreaking beyond words.

Doctors are optimistic about his prognosis, and we’re clinging to hope, but the journey to remission will be anything but short. His treatment plan is rigorous, and the financial burden is immense. Logan will need to take significant time off work to help care for Henry, Delilah, and Emmett, and the costs—medical, emotional, and logistical—are overwhelming.

We’ve never been ones to ask for help, but this is more than any one family can bear. So many of you have reached out asking how you can support them, and we are deeply grateful.
