HUMPTY DUMPTY REPAIR MO FUND

My name is Monica German, friends call me "Mo".  5 1/2yrs ago I fought stage 3 breast cancer w/ chemo & radiation, but even after treatment, lumps popped up & had to be biopsied, so my oncologist & I agreed that a double mastectomy would be the best decision. Another doc put implants in @ the same time & within days, one of them had moved way up towards my shoulder & the other one was leaking, which caused a severe infection. So, he removed them & left my chest terribly mutilated. I have lupus, so I heal slower than normal & the anxiety from what happened caused the lupus to flare. I became suicidal & was admitted to a psych ward, where I had to learn "what is, is". After all these yrs of "not feeling like a female" or "not worthy of physical intimacy", my amazing momma called & made an appt w/ 1 of the best plastic surgeons in the area. He made a plan of action & said I would be a challenging case, BUT he likes a challenge. He's gotta release the tension on the scars & start fat injections (it's scarred skin on bone right now), I may need skin grafts, & if it works out the way he's planning,
IMPLANTS!!! When he told me that, tears of joy filled my eyes &  I asked if I could have a hug, he opened his arms & hugged me back. I never thought I'd be able to get my disfigured chest fixed & now there's even a possibility of regaining self-esteem by getting my boobies back :)
