Hi, my name is Alex and I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister, Samantha. She has been navigating a sudden and complex illness, and those of us closest to her are coming together to support her through this incredibly difficult time.

Over the past several months, Samantha’s world has been turned upside down by a sudden and debilitating neurological disorder that began in June. What started as unexplained neurological symptoms has developed into a complex condition that affects her ability to walk, speak, and perform basic daily tasks. She has a long road ahead of her with treatment, but for now, Samantha’s life has been put on hold.

Even after three ambulance transfers, five emergency visits, daily seizures, temporary paralysis in her legs, and periods of altered speech, Samantha continues to push forward — staying connected with friends and family despite it all. She remains deeply grateful for this chance to heal and for the generosity and encouragement so many of you have shared.

As she focuses on recovery, she’s been unable to work and is facing mounting financial challenges — from rent and utilities to medical bills and treatment-related costs. Your support will go directly toward helping Samantha cover essential living expenses, medical care, and the stability she needs to focus fully on healing.
