Aden's Remicaid Infusion Fund

Starting a gofundme campaign has not been a easy decision.  After getting the insurance decision of paying 80% out of 100% of Aden's Remicade infusions hit me in the gut. 

Aden was diagnosed two weeks ago with Crohns disease. Since 8th grade (he is now in 10th) he has progressively lost over 30 pounds.  After a recent ER trip and a alarming request to find a Pediatric GI specialist. We received a appointment within two days. Emergency scoping was scheduled for a week later. 

In addition to Crohns Aden also has H Pylori. He is on a regemin of 4 different medications, one of them not covered by his insurance. The total for this medication was $2,000. It is called Alinia. This will help heal the H Pylori. 

Starting next week Aden will undergo Remicade infusions. This will be maintence drug that he will be on the rest of his life.  It takes 4 hours in a hospital hooked up to a IV. Initially it is every 4-8 weeks and after that 4 times a year. 20% of $4000 is $800 a month. If, for the first year, we have to do infusions every month that will be $9600. 

My goal is $9,600 to help off set this cost. Please consider giving however much you can. Anything at this point will help.
