Emergency funeral expenses for Aden’s close relative

Aden’s close relative died of a preventable overdose yesterday in Altoona, PA. For their family’s safety, she wishes for him to remain anonymous at the moment. Aden and her parents have no disposable income to pay for the funeral expenses without risking losing everything.

This year 6 people in Aden’s life died of preventable overdoses, and it has been an incredibly challenging time for everyone in the community. Aden is an organizer and a harm reductionist to the bone, and has been doing work in her community since she was a kid - there is not enough time or money in the world to properly grieve each person that has died. Nobody deserves to die of a preventable overdose, and each one deserves to be remembered and grieved to the fullest.

We are asking for enough money to hold a funeral service and support his dependents in the aftermath of his passage. Any amount is appreciated.
