Hi everyone! I'm Aden, and I was recently diagnosed with Chiari 1 Malformation. What this means is, my brain is slipping into my spine. My cerebellum is compressing my spine and greatly affecting my quality of life. I suffer from daily migraines, limb tremors and weakness, and fainting spells known as "drop attacks". I'm having decompression surgery on june 19th to allievate the pressure and the symptoms. Yes, I'm having brain surgery. I am raising funds because I need to fund child care, which means I have to pay someone to come to my house since my child is autistic and needs routine. Unfortunately I cannot rely on my co parent during brain surgery. I will also need to cover travel expenses for my partner to and from the hospital, and quick meals for everyone.
