Adelaide's New Gurudwara Sahib at Modbury North SA

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫ਼ਤਿਹਸਾਊਥ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਐਡੀਲੇਡ ਵਿਖੇ 1988 ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਿਕ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਬੀਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਸਾਲਾਂ 'ਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 'ਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸੰਗਤ ਐਡੀਲੇਡ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ (ਨਾਰਥ) ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਵਧੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜ ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਥਾਂ 'ਗਲੋਬ ਡਰਬੀ' ਵਿਖੇ ਲੈ ਵੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਾਲੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ।

ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਮੋਡਬਰੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ 'ਚ ਇਕ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ $1344200 ਚ ਖ਼ਰੀਦ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸੈਟਲਮੈਂਟ ਦਸੰਬਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਨੀ ਤਹਿ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ 'ਚ ਵੱਸਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਾਲੀ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਜੀ।

ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਸਿੱਖਸ ਆਫ਼ ਸਾਊਥ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਕੁੱਲ ਨੌਂ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ-ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਭ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ।

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Even though there are three Gurudwara Sahibs in Adelaide but number of sangat in northern suburbs has grown substantially and has to travel long distances to attend services in these Gurudwara Sahibs. With Guru Sahib's grace and sangat's guidance a community centre has been purchased at Modbury North for $1,344,200 AUD and has already secured council approvals for religious operations. This property is extremely suitable for the purpose as there is minimal renovation work required before sangat can start diwans and sangat is waiting for the settlement early December 2022 with greatest possible enthusiasm.

Hereby, a humble request is extended to wider communities to come together and donate to this noble cause so that Gurudwara Sahib can be established with minimal loans and other financial stresses.
