Addison is our 6 year old, spunky, fun loving daughter who has so much more life to live. On March 5th she was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) which is a very rare, cancerous brain tumor that is wrapped around the brain stem. This tumor has no known cure with only a 9-18 month typical life expectancy after diagnosis. We will begin a clinical trial at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on March 25th which will be concurrent with a 6 to 7 week course of radiation. Our hope for this fundraiser is to raise enough money to cover medical expenses for her treatments. Any amount of money raised after that will be donated directly to DIPG research!
