Addison's Mighty Mission

Hi everyone,

My name is Andrea, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends Sarah and Buddy, Addison’s parents. Addison is a twin and just three months old. She has already been diagnosed with a rare liver condition called biliary atresia. She and her twin were born one month early and spent a few days in the NICU to ensure they were healthy enough to go home. Just two very short months later, Addison is facing an urgent medical battle.

She will need specialized care, including major surgery and a potentially life long battle to keep a healthy liver. Her family temporarily relocated to New York City to have access to some of the best doctors for Addi. They will be there for about ten days for Addison’s surgery and treatment, far from home, support systems, and routine. This sudden relocation, combined with medical costs, has placed a huge financial burden on their family during what should be a joyful time with their newborns.

We’re asking for your help to ease that burden—so they can focus on what matters most: being Addison's voice to ensure she gets the best care possible.
