Addison Rush has always been a fighter from the beginning. She came screaming into this world four weeks early. There were concerns that she would have to stay a couple of extra days to be monitored, but she proved to her doctors and nurses that she was perfectly healthy and we were able to take her home the very next day. She has since grown into a sassy, funny, loving, independent little girl, who has her dad and brother wrapped around her finger, gives her mom attitude all day every day, makes her baby sister smile and laugh, and gets into all sorts of trouble with her puppy.
As most of you know, Addison was diagnosed with a brain tumor in July, and had it completely removed in September. She was in the hospital for four days. She recovered remarkably, and showed everyone what a truly spirited fighter she is. She now goes in for brain MRI's/oncology appointments every 3 months. As of now, she does not need any treatment!
With her hospital stay, mom and dad had several out of pocket expenses..food, gas, and to also maintain keeping up with household bills. Dad took two weeks off from work to help with surgery/recovery. Now, Addie's medical bills are starting to roll in from previous appointments, tests, and scans that all led up to her surgery.
We know we have asked so incredibly much by asking to keep her in your thoughts and prayers and to send extra love her way..but we especially need your help right now. With dad being the sole provider for our family, finances have been hard in the last month. We're still trying to recover from our out of pocket expenses from her hospital stay and with bills due, times have been stressful. We realize this is so much to ask, but anything really does help. We are so extremely grateful for each and every one of you that has supported us from the beginning. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
