Adding to Allisons by Adoption

We each have a story of how adoption has impacted our lives. I read my mother's copy of the true story, "The Family Nobody Wanted," by Helen Doss as a child and knew my calling was to adopt. I researched international adoption, wrote papers in high school and college and went into the field of nursing to help prepare me to take care of medically challenging children.

Christopher was adopted by the amazing man he now calls Dad when he was a young child after his mother remarried and with that adoption he gained an entire family. His entire life was changed by the love of a man who accepted him as he was.

We have two beautiful girls together but have always planned to add to our family through adoption. We are ready and excited to provide a child with a home and a family that loves them before we even know them.

We know that we need the support of all of our family and friends to make this happen and greatly appreciate the emotional, social and financial support of our community.
