Oct 2025: Last week I lost the love and light of my life. Nick is and will always be the strongest person I have ever met. He saved me in more ways than I can count. He’ll always be my hero and inspiration to keep moving forward, even if he’s not physically here anymore. And he continues to be that for so many; a hero for those who he loved, and who loved him - and through organ donation he continues to change lives. I know it makes him so happy to be able to give that precious gift to others, like he received. I’ll be sharing details of a Celebration of Life for Nick soon, where we can honor him and continue to shine his light.

I will see you again, my sunshine, and until then I will honor and remember you every single day. I love you, to the moon and back again.

At the end of the day, all I ask is please don’t stop talking about my husband. He deserves to be remembered for all he is. While his death was sad, his life never was. He lived boldly and loved like no other. His strength, bravery and kindness touched so many and will continue to live on.
