ADawg and Mel’s Journey

Hi Everyone,
   This is Mandy, Mel’s older (and wiser) sister! I decided to set up this GoFund me account to help my little sister and her husband navigate through a new cancer diagnosis and the journey on which they are about to embark.

As many of you know, my brother-in-law, Adam aka Adawg was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. He had major brain surgery 11/30/20 to remove most of the tumor but still has some residual that the Neurosurgeon is hopeful that radiation will take care of.

Everything about this diagnosis has blindsidedour family after Adam was sick for about 1.5 weeks with headaches and extreme fatigue. Ten years ago, this diagnosis and type of brain cancer was very devastating. Although it’s still going to be a long journey for Adam and Mel, there are so many exciting new therapies and treatments for brain cancer. We are looking into all of the options and what will be the best for Adam. 

This is where you can help! Adam owns an accounting firm and we aren’t sure how long he will be out of work. Mel will need to take leave from her job for a while until his treatment plan is figured out and to care for him after his surgery. He may eventually need to travel out of state  to look at all possible options for treatment. This GoFundMe account is to assist with lessening some of the financial burden which they will endure on this journey. 

Any amount isn’t too small and would like them to have a small reserve to be saved if needed at any time. Adawg and Mel are a young and vibrant couple and have been dealt a very tough hand but they know they have lots is support from all of you!
