Amy's story...
Amy was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease at the age of 18 which impacted her life more than she could have ever imagined.
"I've never been able to play basketball with my son before." Amy told us, not too long after she first joined SportAbility.
"SportAbility has allowed me to not only stay active despite my disease, but also enjoy parts of life with my son that I never thought would be possible."
Jordan's story...
"My dad pretty much dragged me by my teeth to Camp." Jordan said. "I wanted nothing to do with it."
"After attending camp, my perspective on life changed completely." Jordan said. "For the first time in my life, I actually considered the possibility of living independently."
SportAbility is creating opportunities for those with physical challenges. Help us make a bigger difference in Eastern Iowa.
All of our staff are volunteer, and no one is ever turned away from our camps or clinics because of an inability to pay.
Help us reach our goal to continue our mission into 2017!
