Adaptive stroller for a special needs family

Hi everyone! I'm trying to raise money to buy an adaptive stroller for a very special family, but they are pricey. My friend takes care of her special needs adult son, and the stroller they have is 12 years old and falling apart. Her son's favorite part of their day is taking "walks," and she can barely push him anymore in the stroller they currently have. It won't take much to get this for them, but it's more than she can do on her own.

The system is broken. Her son aged out of school at 24 years old, requiring her to quit her job so that she could take care of him full time. There is no assistance for a purchase like this stroller even though it is necessary for their well-being.

She doesn't want to be named; she doesn't like asking for help. But she gives and gives and gives to not just her son but our community. I hope our community will want to give back to her. I appreciate your consideration.
