Hello Friends,
Some Donors are contacting Carolyn and mailing a check to her. They prefer US Mail rather than the Internet.
Many of you know Carolyn and you can call her or Carol Lejeune Ledoux or call Serrhel Adams and/or contact them on FB. Carolyn Darbonne Phillips from Palmetto / Melville has always been known for taking care of her Family and Friends. She was the Volunteer Chef at her Church in Livingston Parish for over 30 years until the Great Flood of 2016. She and Olde Vol Fire Fighter / EMT / Gary needs a hand-up to get over an unexpected Ochsner Kidney Transplant Medical Co-Pays and Medicine Co-Pays and Auto Mechanical Repairs.
Carolyn Phillips & Gary Adams lost everything they ever owned in the Great Flood of 2016. This Flood destroyed much of Baton Rouge, EBR Parish, Livingston Parish and other Towns and Parishes. HOME-OWNERS INSURANCE would not pay. They said it was 'Rising Water' so Carolyn & Gary has been struggling since 2016; never complaining; never asked anyone for financial help; never would allow anyone to create a GO FUND ME page.
I am Serrhel Adams and have known 5 generations of Carolyn's family & Gary's family. He was a Melville Vol Fire Fighter / EMT / for many years in his home-town of Melville, LA, St. Landry Parish / Couunty. Gary loved to Volunteer at no cost to anyone.
They are struggling financially with Co-Pays; Medical Bills, Auto bills and monthly bills.
2010: His left leg was amputed: OLOL Hospital, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
2014: Open Heart Surgery: Ochsner Medical Center, Hospital, Baton Rouge, LA.
2015: Kidney Transplant: Ochsner's Transplant Organ Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Yet both refused to ask for help or charity. Her dad and his dad raised them to never to ask for charity but to suffer in silence and hope against hope. Well, their hope has run out.
Carolyn started having mechanical problems with her car this week. Everything is piling up all at one time. The expensivieTransplant Supression Medicine will have to be taken the rest of his life.
We are suggesting only $25.00 or less donations. We the Family and Friends of Carolyn & Gary are trying to make this easy on anyone wanting to donate by keeping the donations to a minimum amount.
NOTE: Some Donors are "US Mailing" a check directly to Carolyn Phillips Adams.
After you think it over, if you feel you can spare $25.00 or less it will be greatly appreciated by everyone and Carolyn & Gary will be humbled and thankful.
Thank you for your time reading this information and your consideration; Serrhel and Friends.
