On St Patric's day, 2017, my sister and her husband were in a horrendous accident. They were T-boned when a truck driven by a drunk driver ran a red light at full speed. For several days both were in critical condition.
Joe was in the passenger seat. He took the force of Angie and her seat into his left side. Several cracked ribs, fractured clavicle, fractured eye socket, bruising, cuts and scrapes.
Joe has since been released but cannot work, do normal household chores or activities, and won't be able to function normally or go back to work for quite awhile.
Angie was driving. She took first impact. The truck hit them so hard that she was pinned in her car and had to be cut out. The list of damages to her body is quite extensive. Primarily her left side was shattered. Her hip has been repaired thru a major surgery with several pins and plates. Not only can she not do normal activities , but she won't walk for months. She will be in aggressive rehab well into a year. In a wheelchair for a minimum of 3 months, unable to work, cook, clean, anything really. She's going to need help with the very basic of life's needs.
Both Joe and Angie worked full-time and supported their home. They are great parents to an even greater little man. Due to the fact that they will both be unable to work for awhile, and even then only Joe will be able to work. They need their family and friends to rally up and help take care of them in their time of need. As they have, so many times, for others.
Keep sending prayers this way. They've brought miracles already! Say one now while you're thinking about it... :)
Thanks! God bless you all for everything you have done and will do.
