Hey there,
On May 31st, one of my biggest fears came true. My epilepsy showed up while behind the wheel of my new vehicle, I seized and crashed into 4 cars in a residential neighborhood. My seizures occur mostly as a result of lack of sleep and stress, both of which I have experienced a fair amount of lately. This incident serves as a bench marker to reevaluate how I handle stress and my overall lifestyle/where my energy goes.
Though no other person was hurt, I am in need of medical attention and my car, as well as the other vehicles involved, needs substantial work. My insurance is covering most of the costs, but the amount I am asking for covers a portion of what will be coming out of pocket.
In the interest of keeping this brief, I want to start by saying that I have recently funneled all of my funds into my work. I have made many investments to push my career forward, but am not prepared for an emergency like this. I need my vehicle to work, and I am in need of chiropractic/PT work that I cannot afford. Though $2000 is not a lot of money, it is money I do not have to spare at this point in my life. Your donation goes towards helping me stay mobile and healthy while having peace of mind. I aim to meet this goal within the next week before resorting to try and acquire a small loan - a process I very much hope to avoid.
Thank you for your time and any help.
Happy to be here,
Adam Henry
