ADAM'S ARMY: MEMORIAL FUND

This is Adam Wright, at age 4 he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma and underwent chemo and radiation. He was cancer free for 12 years.  He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in October of 2020 and has been fighting over the last year. In May, Adam underwent an extensive surgery to remove several of his ribs and various vertebrae in hopes of possibly being cancer free. At his 8 week scan we learned that the cancer had returned with a vengeance and a large mass was discovered in his chest wall. He started chemo immediately! At his 12 week scans the cancer had grown 10%. Adam continued chemo at Highlands Oncology taking a trial drug called CABPMETYX. We were hoping that this trial drug would be the solution we needed to shrink the cancer which would help alleviate some pain and give him more time with his family. It did not work. Adam passed away after a long, very hard battle on Thursday 12/2/2021 at 1:24pm. 

Adam was 18 years old and a recent graduate of Rogers High School. Adam is a twin. His twin brother Timothy passed away unexpectedly in August of 2020 from a rare form of cancer as well. As you can imagine the past year has been extremely taxing on their family emotional, physically and financially. Adam leaves behind his parents Jamie & Tammie Wright along with brothers, Joshua (20) and Dakota (14).
