As some of you may know, my amazing brother Adam recently lost his house in the Big Sur fire. He didn't have much time to grab his belongings and unfortunately he lost alot of his stuff. I'm starting this fund to try and help him get back on his feet and to give him some motivation to keep going. He is feeling pretty defeated and he needs our help.  Earlier in the year he was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and faced some pretty scary surgeries and is adjusting to taking his meds daily. This sanctuary, as he called it, up on the mountain was a place where Adam was doing a lot of healing. He woke up to a peaceful view every moring before heading out to work on the land. He truly loved this place he called home, becasue it was far away from the things that brought him frustraion and gave him a space where he could feel calm and be around people he really loved. A few months ago he told me "Kelsey, I'll never leave the mountain, it's my home and I feel happy there." I've never heard him say that and I could really feel how much this place meant to him.
