Adam Breakell Medical and Healing

In the middle of July Adam made a visit to the Dr. for some pain he was having that started suddenly and thought was likely kidney stones (as he's had them before) and it was discovered, via a CT scan, that he had a significant tumor in his abdomen pushing up against his kidney and the rest of the report reads "consistent with extensive peritoneal carcinomatosis". After a biopsy it was determined that the type of cancer is stage 4 Mesothelioma.

Through help from his aunt in California, he was able to get an appointment with a Dr. at UMASS medical center in Worcester, MA and he went there late August for Surgery.

During Adam's 10 hour surgery they removed a 5 pound tumor from his abdomen and several other tumors they could effectively remove.

Since Adam has been recovering from the surgery and began Chemo about a month ago. 

At this point, we don't know what we don't know as far as how "curable" this is, but will know more once the chemo has had time to work.

He has his overall health and somewhat younger age on his side and he's ready to give this thing everything he has.

His attitude toward fighting this cancer is pretty much "Bring it on mother f***er and you had better hope that your best is better than mine if you want to win this thing!"
