La tragica esplosione avvenuta nelle prime ore di sabato 12 Settembre, 2020 in Piazzale Libia, 20 a Milano ha lasciato Adam Serdiuchenko gravemente ferito e privo di sensi in terapia intensiva con gravi ustioni. Il suo appartamento insieme a tutto ciò per cui ha lavorato così duramente negli ultimi anni è andato distrutto. Tutto ciò che gli resta è l'amore e la preoccupazione di noi suoi amici, forse anche di futuri amici di cui non sa ancora nulla (di cui non conosce ancora il nome)!
The tragic explosion which took place early on Saturday 12 September 2020 at Piazzale Libia, 20 in Milan left Adam Serdiuchenko seriously ill and unconscious in Intensive Care with severe burns. His apartment and everything he worked so hard for in recent years has been destroyed. All that remains is the love and concern of us his friends - maybe even future friends he hasn’t learned about yet!
Adam non ha parenti prossimi - per gestire i suoi affari e quindi, nell’immediato, deve essere intrapreso un lavoro legale per proteggere i suoi interessi e la sua reputazione mentre le indagini sulla causa dell'esplosione continuano. Come risultato dell'estrema generosità di due persone che non hanno mai incontrato Adam, ma che sono state ispirate dalla sua storia, abbiamo un avvocato di primo piano e i suoi collaboratori che ci assistono, pro bono.Un altro benefattore ha accettato di sostenere le spese accessorie associate durante questa prima fase. Questo, insieme all'eroismo di Aly Harhash che ha coraggiosamente salvato Adam dalle fiamme, mostra che la gentilezza umana non conosce limiti. Siamo grati oltre ogni parola per questi atti d'amore.
Adam has no legal next of kin to manage his affairs and therefore, in this immediate period, legal work needs to be undertaken to protect his interests and reputation as the investigation into the cause of explosion continues. As a result of the extreme generosity of two people who have never met Adam but who are inspired by his story, we have a top lawyer and his associates assisting us, pro bono, and another benefactor has agreed to pick up associated incidental expenses during this first phase. This, together with the heroism of Aly Harhash who courageously rescued Adam from the flames, shows that human kindness knows no limits. We are grateful beyond words for these acts of love.
In previsione del 30° compleanno di Adam, il 28 ottobre, noi, le sue `` famiglie '' inglesi e italiane, desideriamo istituire un fondo che coprirà altre spese immediate per massimizzare le possibilità di Adam nel breve e medio termine e anche per fornirgli le basi per ricostruire la sua vita e indipendenza mentre, se Dio lo vuole, comincerà a riprendersi.
In anticipation of Adam’s upcoming 30th birthday on 28 October, we, his English and Italian ‘families’ wish to establish a fund that will cover other immediate expenses in maximising Adam’s chances in the short to medium term and also to provide him with the basic necessities of rebuilding his life and independence as, if God wills it, he begins to recover.
