Adam's Girls

Donation protected
This go fund me was created to benefit the daughters left behind from the unexpected loss of Adam Nickerson.  Adam’s greatest gift were his girls Bailey and Avery Nickerson. Currently Bailey and Avery are doing as well as expected. In this hard time Bailey expressed that she wanted to raise money to benefit the girls in lieu of flowers at the memorial service. The money would be able to go towards unexpected expenses, education, and hobbies. The biggest value Adam left behind are the memories he helped create however, because of his unexpected and early passing he had very little to leave behind for his daughters. Therefore, this GoFundMe is assist with providing the girls with more financial stability in their future.

Adam’s oldest daughter Bailey (18 years old) graduated from high school in 2017. Bailey’s goal is to return to college soon. Also she dreams to pursue her talent with music, which follows in her dad’s legacy. Bailey’s favorite things about her dad were his infectious smile and the way he made everyone feel special. Bailey describes her dad as being kind hearted and couldn’t hate anyone even if he tried. She will always miss his compassion that radiated through his words of wisdom and his papa bear hugs.

Adam’s youngest daughter, Avery (11 years old) is going into the 6th grade this fall and is usually busy playing sports. She enjoys spending her time playing competitive club soccer and basketball. Avery’s goal is to enjoy time with friends, school, sports and family. Although her ultimate dream is to play college soccer one day; Adam and Avery both share a strong love of soccer together. Avery loved having fun with her dad as she understood his sarcasm and jokes although she is young. She appreciated that Adam would let her express herself and encouraged her to always be true to herself. Avery will miss his personality, smile, kind heart, when they would paint together, his warm snuggles and their memorable times at “The Ranch”.

Adam George Nickerson was born in Colorado Springs to David and Marilyn Nickerson on May 11th, 1977. He lived a full life creating great memories at Coronado High School, living it up with friends at parties, playing music as DJ Taste, working at the coffee shop, going to see his favorite concerts and escaping with family and friends to “The Ranch”. Adam was known for always having fun, loving music, being kind hearted, loyal and always a loving friend, brother, son and father.

The Accident:
Over Memorial Day weekend Adam went to Minneapolis to spend time with some good friends for a music festival. He fell unexpectedly, hit his head and suffered a severe brain injury which included bleeding, a blood clot, and swelling to his brain. Adam then spent the next two and a half weeks in critical condition in the ICU in a coma. On June 12th, 2018 he passed with his oldest daughter, Bailey by his side. Leaving behind shock and sadness with the tragic death.

A soul gone to soon but left forever in our memories and heart. Any donations are appreciated in lieu of flowers in memory of Adam. Thank you.
