My name is Kara and I am creating this on behalf of my good friend Jamese. Jamese’s world came crashing down today when her husband and the father of her son, Noah, passed away unexpectedly. Adam was a great husband to Jamese, father to his daughter Kate and son Noah, and a great friend. He loved his family. Adam was a strong, stoic man. In January this year, he started having pain in his arms and feet. Over the course of a couple months. Several hospital admissions and many tests and procedures; he learned that he had a cancerous tumor in his abdominal area that was bleeding and causing blood clots to form throughout his body. He bravely and quietly started chemotherapy treatments while still attending all of Noah’s soccer games and activities and was trying to get back to work because he did not want all of his hospital bills to burden his family. He had his chemo treatment this week and was feeling hopeful because it didn’t make him as sick as the previous treatment so he was going to try to work from home. So this morning Jamese and Noah went off to work and school with hope and she returned home devastated. Adam had succumbed to his battle with cancer.
