My name is Adam, since I was small I had interest in studying the Quran and Islamic knowledge. I wanted to go overseas to focus on this dream of mine, however I was advised by my parents and some Shaykhs that it is best for me to complete my academic studies first but ofcourse still study Islam at the same time but right from my hometown.
I have graduated and completed my academic in Automotive mechanic and was one of the first in my school to have recieved 3 ASE certificates and became the first student Ambassador. Upon this completion I was offered a job and was persuing my career, until one day in the month of Ramadaan I decided to persue my Dream of studying the Arabic language and Islamic studies. I spoke to my wife, my parents and my boss at work and all of them were very supportive of my dream.
So, I decided to apply at an institute in Egypt that was recommended to me and was accepted. This was an easy decision for me with the help of Allah. I have recieved good support from my parents , as now I will not be working to have an income, so Alhamdulillah for the financial support from them. I also have recieved the support from my dear wife, as you know sometimes the husband or wife wants to persue Islamic knowledge and one or the other may say no or object to it, however it was a happy moment for her also, and she stated " I want to study and go along with you also". If we can't afford for me to study, its okay I will still come with you so I can support you by helping out with the cooking , cleaning and not fogetting food - (everyone that knows me , knows how much I love food).
Alhamdulillah myself and wife have been studying in Egypt for 8 months and we have passed 4 levels of Arabic language and we also have been learning Islamic studies and Quran. Unfortunately we had to leave and come back home as for immigration purposes couldn't be out for more than one year.
Our intention is to return back to Egypt after Ramadaan to continue with the program which is approximately 11 months we plan to be there.
I am humbly requesting the help to sponsor the tuition for studies, the books, the lodging, utilities and grocery - this will help my parents to not have to figure out how to sponsor it 100% and also allow whoever sponsor towards this the blessings from Allah.
I have only requested 50% of the cost as my parents will sponsor the other 50% and any unforeseen expenses as at times we do have to leave Egypt and travel to a different country for a few days for obtaining Visas. So there is always travel and hotel costs.
