On December 23rd, driving home for the Christmas holidays, my younger brother-in-law Adam was in a terrible car accident. He lost control of the car on black ice and was hit on his side by a sedan and on the passenger side by a semi truck. He was rendered unconscious and trapped in his car, following the crash. First responders managed to get him out of the wreckage, and he was flown to the nearest hospital via helicopter. Adam sustained internal and external injuries and he is expected to be in the hospital for a few weeks. He's currently in the ICU, and doctors are still trying to determine the best course of action to facilitate his healing.

The cost of emegergency transportation, Adam's hospital stay, medication, and tons of imaging, plus the total loss of their car, creates a big financial burden on Adam and his wife, Sara, who have been medical students for the last several years—Adam was only recently accepted into a physical therapy program and Sara just graduated from physician's assistant school.

This is an extremely hard time for Adam and Sara and they could use all the love and help you can give. If there is anything you can donate it would be so much appreciated! This couple is so deserving and if we can help them have peace of mind financially it would help them so much.
