Long and short of it is - I have fallen on hard times over the last couple of years. From getting laid off my well-paying job, and being back to living on my own again, I have been struggling to make ends meet.

Additionally, in October of 2023, I financed a car at an insane interest rate. Within a year, it experienced catastrophic engine failure. Repairs were going to run more than the car was worth, and because I was already struggling to pay my bills, I ultimately stopped making my payments on it. Well, the time finally came when the bank decided to repossess it. Was it my smartest move? Probably not. But it made sense at the time.

The problem is that it was still drivable to a degree, and I am now without any reliable transportation to and from work. The bus system by my apartment doesn’t run often enough to get me there without me giving up an extra 3 hours a day out of my already sparse free time.

So, I’m asking for help, as much as I hate to do so. I am looking to purchase a reliable e-bike to help get around.

I know there are cheaper options out there, but I have done ample research and have settled on this model, primarily because I am a bigger individual and this bike is designed to carry people of my stature.
