My name is Tasha and I am the wife of Adam Morse.
On February 4, 2024 Adam felt incredibly ill after fighting what he thought was COVID for almost a week. He went to the ER where he had a CT scan that found a 9cm abscess on his liver.
Adam was medevac’d to Anchorage on Monday the 5th of February where we spent a week in the hospital. Adam is currently sporting a pigtail catheter which is draining the abscess.
While he has this medical hardware, he is unable to work. We do not know when he will be able to go back to work as we sit and wait for the catheter to do its job.
At this point, Adam is probably not getting much if any paycheck this month as he is out of sick leave. We are also looking at some medical payments that we were obviously not expecting. This is creating a financial stress for our family.
We are not the type of people to ask for help. We have always pulled ourselves up by the bootstraps and made do, but this time is different. We could use a hand.
If you are able to donate, our family would really appreciate it. If you cannot, we completely understand.
Thank you for taking time to read about our medical journey.
Sincerely,
Adam and Tasha Morse
