Hello,

Adam’s sister here again. As you all know we very sadly lost Adam on the 25th February at just 28 years old.

I received a lovely message today from a friend of Adam’s who suggested we set up a fundraiser so that people could contribute towards the family/costs. It would feel wrong to do this without making you all aware that regardless of the shock of it all and it not being something we had any idea would be on the cards, Adam will get the send off he deserves no matter what it costs we would have made it happen.

That being said once this idea was suggested to us we sat and we thought about what to do and we came to the decision that Adam was a huge “people person” he had time for everyone and anyone. We believe Adam would have absolutely loved his funeral to be funded in bits and pieces by everyone who knew and loved him. Adam always was about giving and spreading the love for everybody, I think he’d be so proud if we managed to do the same for him in this difficult time.

However, we also know that Adam would not want anybody putting themselves into difficulties or being upset that they couldn’t donate/contribute. We all understand that the world we live in today is difficult so to those of you that can’t afford to contribute just know that being his friend and making him smile was more than enough. We will be forever grateful to you all for that. Keep smiling and living your lives in his memory, he would love that❤️

Whilst we aren’t expecting to raise enough to cover the entire cost of the funeral, should that happen, I’d like you all to know that any excess money raised will be going to a charity/charities that meant a lot to Adam. There were many charities close to Adam’s heart so we haven’t chosen one yet but should it come that far we will update you all with the chosen charity.

I really would like to emphasise that regardless of donations or size of donations we whole heartedly appreciate every single person that was a part of Adam’s life, to have made him smile, laugh and enjoy life was the greatest thing any of you could have done so thank you all for everything and to those of you who do donate, thank you❤️
