Honoring Adam’s Legacy: Support Lilly’s Future
Donation protected
Dr. Adam McKee, a Professor of Criminal Justice and former Deputy Sheriff based in Monticello, Arkansas, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He left behind one child, a daughter Lilly, who decided to return to college last year to complete an undergraduate degree in political science and history at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Adam was supporting Lilly financially so that she could put most of her focus onto her schoolwork, which allowed her to achieve a 4.0 grade point average during her first year back in college and a recent notice of her place on the Chancellor’s List at the end of her junior year.
This crowdfunding effort has been created to allow those who would like to support Lilly in Adam’s absence as she navigates all of the responsibilities that come in the aftermath of such a tragic loss. In addition to immediate help needed to defray utility, transportation, and grocery costs this summer as Lilly only has part-time work, your support will help Lilly continue to attend university full-time over the next year, so that she can continue focusing great effort on achieving excellence without abandoning her and Adam’s dream of seeing her receive a bachelor’s degree.
