Fundraising for Adam Leighton’s funeral

On Saturday 23rd December 2023, Adam’s Father, Andrew Leighton had to deliver the horrendous news to the rest of his family and friends that unfortunately, Adam had passed away, aged just 33 years old.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to know Adam knew just what an awesome guy he was. He never let his disability define who he was or what he could do, and was one of the funniest, kindest men you were likely to meet. An all round good guy and a doting and magnificent Father.

The pool and snooker community of which ‘Short Spice’ was a big part of for so long has been genuinely rocked to its core by his tragic passing.

With the permission of Andrew, both Deb Caldwell and myself wanted to find a way where Adam’s family, friends and cuesport associates could chip in to help towards the costs associated with the unexpected expense of his funeral.

Every penny received will go to the Leighton family, who will update us in due course as to the details of Adam’s funeral.

As Andrew himself says, “He always said his funeral will be massive; All I ask is all of us give him a send off he deserves.”
