This is Adam. He has had a truly awful month. On June 13th, while working a job at a children's care home, Adam had a terrible accident. While helping to restrain a thrashing child, he was headbutted on both sides of his jaw, fracturing it twice and dislocating it.

Now he needs costly maxillofacial surgery, a dental and medical procedure which requires a specialist. Adam tried to get his surgery taken care of through his insurance, but they have no specialists in his network. Adam tried to get his surgery paid for through worker's compensation, but the company doesn't have worker's comp insurance. Now he's faced with plunging himself into medical debt or hoping for the insurance company to cover something out-of-network out of the kindness of their hearts.

Adam hasn't been able to eat solid food for the last month, he's unable to work while he's in such a precarious medical situation, and hospital bills are already starting to roll in. He only took that job to save up so he could move, but now that money is gone. He needs help. That's where you come in.
