Adam Filges Emergency and Recovery Funds

Adam was in a tragic work related accident. I am his daughters mother and Adams mother Cindy is the beneficiary to these funds.

I am making this gofundme to cover immediate costs before we figure out workmans comp coverage. All funds will cover his personal home bills, gas to and from the hospital, parking and meal costs for immediate loved ones there by his side everyday. Any other funds will be used for his children and costs not covered by insurance for his future.

On Thursday April 27th, Adam fell 30+ feet from scaffolding/ladder at a construction site landing head first into the basement concrete.

He was life flighted to a Pittsburgh hospital in critical condition.

He miraculously remained consciousness so we are very hopeful for a full recovery but his injuries are extremely serious.

He has suffered a large laceration on his head resulting in a loss of a lot of blood. He has a serious skull fracture causing air on his brain and several brain bleeds. A lot of fractured facial bones. He will need multiple surgeries to repair.

Adam is conscious and aware of his accident. He is very resilient and determined to recover. He will however have a long and hard journey ahead of him.

Update: Tuesday 5-2-2023

10+ Hours long surgery on skull and facial bones. Doctors said everything went well. He's in recovery now.

Update: Friday 5-12-2023

After many long uncertain days Adam is now in a therapy rehab hospital and is doing great! Still a very long way to go but he is able to do everything they are working on him with!
