Adam Aquino was just 38. Adam is survived by his girlfriend Kathryn and his two beautiful daughters Amanda who is 4yrs old and Aryn who is 3yrs old. Adam passed away from liver cancer on the morning of
11-08-19 surrounded by his family.
Adam is one of the most compassionate people you will ever meet. Basketball and family is what he lived for. The perfect teammate you can ask for, he would pass up his shot just so you can shoot yours. The perfect friend, who would literally fight by your side if anything went down. The perfect family man, who would do anything for his girls. You were truly blessed if you ever crossed paths with him because he was very approachable and he would always be willing to break the ice. Very blunt at times but, you respected and laughed at the same time, at some of the stuff he would say. Definition of a gym rat, basketball and weights were a nightly routine but, only after he puts his girls to sleep first. Most importantly , if you were lucky enough to be his friend. You were a friend for life.
"A best friend, my brother from another. My words can’t do you justice. Hurts so much just writing this. We played ball for almost 20yrs, it’s what brought us together and how we crossed paths. Til recently you were the only one that went to the gym as much as me and you were in great shape. I dunno what happened. I’m so sorry you were dealt these cards that were played for you. I worked up the courage to see you the other day. It was selfish of me to not wanna see you like that. Experience with my mom, I already knew what to expect but of course when I saw you I wasn’t ready. I’m so glad I got to come see you again yesterday for the last time. We been through a lot before we even started families, when ball was priority and Jordan’s. I'll see you again my brotha, I’m gonna miss you. I love you bro"

My friends and I are setting up this support fund to alleviate the family from having to pay for the funeral services but, more importantly for his family. All donations are extremely appreciated during this difficult time for Kathryn, Amanda, and Aryn.
