In May 2023, my foster son Juke, who was a big part of my life and who my children loved as a brother, sadly felt this life wasn’t him for him any more. He’s left a big hole in a lot of people’s lives and we miss him deeply.

In honour of his and many others lives, Lee Mills and I are doing a year of fundraising. All of the money raised is going to the suicide prevention charity, Legend on the Bench.

Lee and I will be putting on events through the year, from scratchcards to a football match and charity walk. On a social side, Lee and I play football every Sunday, bringing people together and creating a great environment and incredible atmosphere.

The charities aim is to get benches put into local parks, where people can go and sit in their dark moments. The benches will have telephone numbers available, to call at any time, and on the other end of the phone are people who are always ready to talk, listen and help.

Legend On the bench has a mission to combat mental health issues and suicide, by providing resources of support to those in need.
