This go fund me is to help with expenses for my 3 year old niece Adalyn Skaggs to receive treatment and care in her battle against cancer. On August 23, 2023 Adalyn underwent surgery for removal of a mass from her right eye. On August 29th the family received the devastating news that she has embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer). Adalyn has been receiving chemo treatments weekly and in roughly 5 weeks she and her family will be going from their home in North Carolina to Philadelphia for a period of 4-5 weeks for her to receive radiation treatments for/on the cancer. Eric (my brother/Adalyn's dad) is out of paid time off at his job and while he is able to take fmla time off this will be unpaid time. The expenses of treatments, the pending trip, and daily cost of living is adding up and the possibility of Eric not being there for the 5 weeks of her radiation treatments is a heartbreaking thought. I am asking for help in easing these costs and concerns from anyone who is willing and able to donate. No amount is to small and all help is greatly appreciated!
