Adalee’s Memory

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

My dear friend Brianna and her husband Justin lost their sweet girl yesterday. Please if you can find it in your heart to donate, please do to help ease the financial burden during this horrible time. Here is a message below from a family member:

Adalee Lynn unexpectedly went to be with God early this morning. Our hearts are shattered. You never expect your babies to go before you do but this is a terrifying reality Justin and Brianna are facing. Due to COVID, the twins’ heart problems, surgeries, and procedures, I only got to meet the twins on one occasion. I love Matthew and Adalee immensely and equally.. but the moment I held Adalee for the first time, we just “clicked”. This sassy, sweet, spunky girl was the first girl we’ve had in our family since me. The way she smiled at me warmed a place of my heart I didn’t know existed.

I remember Brianna texting me and asking me to keep a secret one day. Of course I said yes. She then proceeded to send me ultrasound pictures of not just one, but two babies. My heart was so overjoyed. They had tried so hard and for so long to get to this point. I asked her what genders she preferred. She began by saying “I just pray for two healthy babies” but eventually told me she hoped that they got a boy and a girl. One of each. Soon after, they found out they were being blessed with one boy and one girl Since seeing those two little blobs in her ultrasound and seeing Justin cry tears of joy when she showed him, I’ve loved these babies. We all have.

Here recently, anytime I talked to Justin on the phone, I’d hear Adalee singing along to Moana or screaming “MAMAMAMA”. I’d hear Justin tell her not to pull Matthew’s hair or not to hit him with something on the head. She may have only been a year old but that girl had enough personality to fill a 600lb adult!! Her smile and giggle were warm enough to thaw anyone’s heart.

We are so shocked and heart broken about our sweet Adalee. But we know that she’s getting ALL the lovins from her papaw, my mom (her aunt), our aunt Jessica, and countless others. Her time was too short on Earth but I can only imagine the life she has now. No heart problems, no surgeries, no pain. But the hole that’s left in our hearts is so overbearing.

My girl Adalee is and will always be SO loved. Not only by her family but by the countless people that prayed and rooted for the twins during their NICU stay, surgeries, and procedures. Justin and Brianna were the absolute BEST mom and dad to this little girl and I know will continue being the best parents to their sweet Matthew. Prayers and thoughts are appreciated for them. It won’t be an easy road but they now have a little bitty guardian Angel watching over them.

Adalee Lynn Roberts, we’ll hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in our arms again. We miss you so much already.
