Here is a picture of Adalee getting in her zone before her first audition for the Premiere Program. The Premiere Program is "the largest global performing arts program dedicated to showcasing Actors, Models, Dancers, and Singers to industry professionals who specialize in kids programming between the ages of 5 to 20." She had auditioned last year, but wasn't chosen. She was determined to try again this year because it is her dream to be famous! She was so excited when she passed the first evaluation. She spent all weekend ruminating about the possibilities of things to come! Monday we were called for her to return for her second evaluation that night. She was amazing. Out of roughly 1000 children in the New Orleans area, Adalee was one of about 30 children to be chosen to participate in the Premiere Program.
In December she will join 500 other children from around the world in Disney World to participate in the Premiere Program. There she will attend seminars, work with Disney celebrities like Sky Jackson (Hey Jessie) and Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World), and showcase her talents by performing a monologue, dramatic and comedic scenes, one liners, and commercials. She will have the opportunity to be in front of agents, managers, casting directors, and top professionals in the industry. The last day of the program there will be callbacks for potential jobs.
I created this Go Fund Me page because this is an opportunity of a lifetime for Adalee. Of course, opportunities like this don't come without cost. I would do anything to see my baby girl achieve her dreams, even make a Go Fund Me page to ask for your help. We made a down payment for the program, but we couldn't pay for the program in full.
If you know and love Adalee, please consider donating for her to attend the program in Disney in December. This will mean the world to her.
