Donation protected
In early October our grandpa tested positive for Covid-19. Our family noticed a quick decline in his health so he was admitted to the hospital, where he would spend the next 10 days being closely monitored. On November 1st, our family was notified that our grandpa would be coming home the following day. We were all relieved and excited to know that our grandpa would be coming back home to finish recovering with family at his side.
That same night, our grandma spent the evening cleaning up and getting things ready at home, anxious for his return.
In the middle of the night, we received a phone call from the hospital that changed everything. Our grandpa was not coming home.
We were told that our grandpa had suffered complications and did not make it. Our family is crushed and heartbroken.
Our grandpa has been a devoted and loving husband, father, and friend to many. He has touched so many lives and has shown our family the true meaning of love.
Our grandma is now left without her best friend and soulmate. Anyone blessed enough to know them knows the level of love they shared for over 60 years. Together, they were silly, deeply affectionate, and completely devoted to each other and their family. Our grandma must now learn to live life without her other half.
Losing our grandpa has deeply pained all of those who loved him. We will never forget the love that our grandpa showed us and we will forever carry him in our hearts. He was the best father and grandfather that anyone could ever have and we will carry him in spirit as long as we live. My grandpa took a huge piece of our hearts and lives the day God called him home. He was a strong, powerful, helpful, loving and happy Father/Grandfather/Husband! You will deeply be truly truly missed We love you so much and we will take care of grandma for you
