Adair King Fight Against Covid
Donation protected
Adair was admitted to Laurens hospital December 23rd with Covid. She was first diagnosed with Covid December 13, 2021. Adair has struggled with oxygenation issues since her admission. Adair was very scared and still in her sickness worried about her family's well-being before her own. Unfortunately, Adair had to go on life support yesterday evening. She is in serious condition and will be in the intensive care unit on life support for an undetermined amount of time. She will still have a very long road to recovery if and when (Lord's willing) she comes off of life support. Please continue to pray for Adair and her family. Anyone who knows Adair, knows that her boys and her grandchildren mean the world to her. Her youngest son, Ayden is 15 and her oldest son, Austin is 27. Adair means the world to her sons and I want them to be able to be there for her and not have to worry about financial burden. I would like to help make sure Adair does not have to worry about financial issues when she wakes up. I know it would mean the world to Adair to know that her family and friends stepped up to help her and her home while she and her sons face the hardest times of their lives. Please help if you are able to do so and if you feel led to do so. Adair is the sweetest, most kind-hearted person I have ever met and I know she would help anyone else in her shoes. Please help me make sure Adair has nothing to worry about except for getting well and getting back to her children and grandchildren who adore her.
Update: 1/7/22 Thank you everyone for your prayers. Adair was transferred to GHS this evening. Now she will be able to see the specialists she needs and receive dialysis as needed. She is still requiring a high level of support on the ventilator and is sedated and paralyzed. Please keep the prayers coming.
Update: 1/8/22 Adair had a rough time after transfer. Her oxygen level dropped for a while and it took some time to get her stable. She received dialysis which helped some. Hopefully Adair will be put on her stomach this morning to help her oxygenate better. She is still critical so please continue to pray hard.
Update: 1/8/22 Adair received dialysis for 8 hours today and did well. She was finally proned and is oxygenating better. Hopefully they can get her oxygen weaned down from 100%. Please pray that Adair will start oxygenating better and her kidneys will start functioning.
