Hi everyone! My name is Lorena Halwood, and I’m raising money for ADABI. ADABI is a crisis program for domestic violence and sexual assault victims. We serve the Chinle community and surrounding areas of the Navajo Nation.

Ama Doo Alchini Bighan (A Home for Women and Children)

A non-profit, community-based program that offers 24-hour crisis counseling and advocacy to victims and families of domestic violence. ADABI's afterhours crisis services and safe homes are provided by local trained volunteers who are accessed through the Chinle hospital. ADABI's services also include traditional Navajo healing, support groups, an outreach program, community education, referrals, and a community domestic violence task force.
