Ada was diagnosed Jan 15, 2021 with ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease. For those who don’t know it was the famous ice bucket challenge people would do. Unfortunately there is NO CURE. Ada was a super woman 
and worked very hard to provide for her family. She never stayed still. Ada medical issues (ALS) has progressed rapidly as this horrible disease is taking over her body. In the next coming weeks/days, we will have to purchase a lot of medical equipment 
such as, oxygen tank, suction machine, electrical wheelchair, nurse aide to help as it’s getting difficult. Ada's daughter, Jessika who is an assistant school nurse works all day, then goes over to her mother's house and feeds, bathes her and anything else that needs to be done for her. Her father does what he can to help, but isn't in great health himself. Ada does have insurance, but with all the co-pays and equipment that insurance isn't approving that we have to pay out of pocket is adding up quicker than we can make it. Any little thing helps and is greatly appreciate from the bottom of this sweet families heart. It’s been a rough ride seeing Ada decline rapidly, but she has family and friends that surround her with love and we just pray that Ada's last days/weeks/months/ years will be something that her family will cherish for a lifetime! 

I am Julie. Jessika, who is Ada's daughter, ismy sweet friend and youngest daughter's 
school nurse. Jessika has been a true God 
send as my daughter was diagnosed with 
type 1 diabetes when she was in Kindergarten. Jessika has been there for me and my 
family in the good and bad times for the past 6 years. I wanted to do something to
help Jessika in this hard time in her life as
she takes care of her Mother.
